Garphyttan was founded in 2020 by a team of passionate outdoor professionals who wanted to make clothes that truly last. The name comes from the small industrial village of Garphyttan, surrounded by forests, lakes, and a national park in central Sweden.

Our philosophy: where work meets the outdoors
Our process starts with listening — to carpenters, farmers, hunters, and adventurers who use our garments every day. We test all our products in real environments: in workshops, in the forest, and in changing Scandinavian weather.
We work primarily with strong poly-cotton blends that balance breathability and protection. Many garments can be treated with our Garphyttan Garment Wax — a natural mix of beeswax and paraffin — to enhance water resistance and extend durability.
