Carpenter Shirt is the original Garphyttan flannel shirt and has become our bestselling shirt over the years. Made from sturdy cotton flannel with a relaxed, comfortable fit, it’s a dependable choice for outdoor work, weekends at the cabin and everyday life outdoors.
The heavier flannel gives it the classic feel you expect from a traditional flannel shirt, while leaving plenty of freedom to move. Wear it on its own or layer it when temperatures drop. Practical chest and underarm pockets keep tools and everyday essentials close at hand, while the durable construction is built to handle frequent use.

Fit
Carpenter Shirt has a relaxed, straight fit and runs true to size. It offers generous room through the shoulders and torso for comfortable freedom of movement, with enough space to layer over a T-shirt, base layer or light mid-layer when temperatures drop.
Material & Care
Carpenter Shirt is made from sturdy 225 gsm 100% cotton flannel, combining the soft, familiar feel of flannel with the durability needed for everyday wear and outdoor use. The heavier flannel gives the shirt its classic, sturdy feel while remaining comfortable to wear across changing seasons.
To extend the life of the garment, avoid unnecessary washing. Often, simply airing the shirt outdoors is enough. Smaller stains can usually be removed with a damp cloth. If washing is needed, machine wash at 40°C with similar colors. Do not tumble dry.
